A0002: Butter Dish
The A0002 Butter Dish Pattern is a comprehensive guide designed for creating a ceramic butter dish using clay slabs. It includes templates, detailed instructions, and a materials list. The final product is sized to accommodate both east coast and west coast US butter sticks. Additionally, the pattern offers three different handle design options to customize your butter dish. The pattern is available in three formats: a physical TYVEK version that is shipped to you, and two downloadable PDF versions in either 8.5 x 11 or 11 x 17-inch formats.

This downloadable pattern contains a pattern envelope (fold and tape), pages of pattern pieces, printed instructions, and a materials list. Pattern pieces for a butter dish and 3 handle options are included. Cut out the pattern pieces and keep everything tidy in the illustrated envelope. Note that these patterns are formatted for 11 x 17 paper. If you don’t have access to a printer that prints on 11 x 17 paper, you can always print your pattern through an online printing service like Office Depot, etc.
